Solenote — Terms of Use

Plain-language summary: Solenote is a tool to help you organize your private practice and draft your own documentation. It is not professional advice, it does not provide clinical judgment, and you remain fully responsible for your records, your clinical decisions, and your billing. Your data lives on your device.

1. Acceptance

By using Solenote (the “App”), made by NYRAI LLC, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What Solenote is — and isn’t

Solenote is a documentation and practice-organizing aid for licensed clinicians. It is not clinical, legal, medical, billing, tax, or financial advice; it is not an electronic health record certified for any regulatory program; and it does not submit insurance claims on your behalf. The AI note-drafting feature only restructures content you provide and must be reviewed by you before use. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and clinical appropriateness of everything in the App.

3. Superbills

Superbills generated by Solenote are statements of services that you provide to your client so they may seek out-of-network reimbursement from their own insurer. They are not insurance claims, and Solenote does not file anything with any payer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the provider details, codes, dates, and amounts.

4. Your data

Solenote stores your data only on your device. We have no server and no copy of your data. You are responsible for maintaining device security (passcode, backups) and for complying with any privacy and recordkeeping obligations that apply to your practice.

5. Subscriptions & purchases

Solenote is free to use with limited features. “Solenote Pro” is available as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly, each with a free trial) or as a one-time “Lifetime” purchase, through Apple’s App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-refundable purchase (except as required by law) and is not a subscription.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NYRAI LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any clinical, billing, or business outcome arising from your use of the App. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the App.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
